Rembrandt maintains a grip on the art world even 350 years after his death. The epic documentary My Rembrandt enters the exclusive world of Rembrandt owners and Rembrandt hunters, where people are ruled by reverence, pride, money and envy, but mostly by unbridled passion and love for the works of the grand master of intimacy.

The film allows us a fascinating insight into what makes the work of this Dutch master painter so special and why his work touches people so deeply.

Following the success of her documentary The New Rijksmuseum (2014), awarded the Best
Dutch Documentary at IDFA 2014 among others, film director Oeke Hoogendijk has once again taken on a great subject to tell us a captivating tale of art and art lovers.
