The San Francisco Jazz Collective Orchestra is an all-star, award-winning jazz ensemble of eight dazzling and exciting musicians and composers. Every year, they tour the world with eight original compositions and eight arrangements of tunes by Ornette Coleman, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner and Chick Corea. They offer a fresh take on familiar repertoire pieces, which have become part of our collective memory, by mixing traditional runs and licks with contemporary improvisations.
