‘Sélène Saint-Aimé’

Sélène Saint-Aimé is a young Afro-French double bass player, singer and composer with Caribbean and West-African roots. The Paris-based musical jack-of-all-trades works with internationally renowned bassists Ron Carter and Lonnie Plaxico, as well as with saxophonist and conceptualist Steve Coleman. Sélène Saint-Aimé develops her own identity by travelling the world and getting to know different cultures. She is currently working on a new album and recently won the Victoire du Jazz in the Revelation category.
