‘Sélène Saint-Aimé’

Sélène Saint Aimé is a young Afro-French double bass player, singer and composer with Caribbean and West-African roots. The Paris-based musical jack-of-all-trades works with internationally renowned bassists Ron Carter and Lonnie Plaxico, as well as with saxophonist and conceptualist Steve Coleman. Sélène Saint Aimé develops her own identity by travelling the world and getting to know different cultures. She is currently working on a new album and recently won the Victoire du Jazz in the Revelation category.
