‘Singing Brussels Marolles’

19 June'22
- 13:00

Let's Zing Ensemble

In the context of the Fête de la musique

Are you ready to welcome the summer in a melodious way? Singing Brussels is finally back after a two-year slumber! Join us on Sunday 19 June for Singing Brussels Marolles, a magnificent urban cantata in celebration of the Fête de la Musique. A number of choirs from Flanders, Wallonia, and Brussels will perform their own repertoire between 1pm and 2:30pm through the Marolles. We will close the event at the Palais de Justice around 3pm with a concert featuring Laïla Amezian, Olivier Thomas, the various choirs and festive brass bands under the direction of Laurent Blondiau.

 You can sing too!

Everyone is welcome to join in. Perform on your own, with your friends, or with your band. In the coming weeks, you can prepare the grand final concert with Laïla and Oliver. Experience the beauty of their unique sound and learn the songs during the rehearsals at the Centre for Fine Arts. Online tutorials are also available if you want to continue practising at home.
