‘Staging the Concert’

In the Staging the Concert format, Bozar encourages a dialogue between artistic disciplines and invites an artist to intervene in the concert experience. Choreographer-dancer Radouan Mriziga joins the Belgian National Orchestra for a scenographic performance, for instance, and the choreographer Saburô Teshigawara draws comfort from the 40-voiced music of Thomas Tallis. Visual artist Ann Veronica Janssens also joins the fray for a sensory concert experience with HERMESensemble and Alexander Vantournhout returns with his successful Sequenze with the dancers of Not Standing.
