Spend your summer at Bozar

At Bozar, summer promises to be vibrant! The exhibitions are open and enriched with new experiences: a monumental installation by Michael Beutler transforms the architecture of the Hall Horta into a living sculpture; and an outdoor programme of activities takes over our rooftop. And it is fitting that summer kicks off with music! Bozar is hosting an exceptional concert at the end of June - the raw energy of the Percussions de Strasbourg is followed by Lander Gyselinck’s electrifying hybrid creation, blending percussion, electro and jazz. At Bozar, summer is not a break but an invitation to explore, feel and forge unexpected connections.

June Highlights

For a night of celebration

27 June – Xenakis’ Persephassa & Lander Gyselinck’s HiHats in Trees
The Henry Le Bœuf Hall transforms for one special evening where rhythm knows no bounds. First, Les Percussions de Strasbourg perform Xenakis’ Persephassa, a 360° immersive piece with six percussionists surrounding the audience. Then, witness the world premiere of HiHats in Trees, where Lander Gyselinck blends percussion, electronic and jazz into a unique live experience.

30 June – Staging the Concert: Sammy Baloji – Le père sauvage
In its third edition, Staging the Concert features two original creations: one by Pytshens Kambilo on Pan-Africanism, and another by Szymon Brzóska. Conceived by Sammy Baloji, the evening echoes the 65th anniversary of Congo’s independence, exploring the link between Victor Horta’s architecture and colonial history.

For an immersive experience

18 – 27 June – VR Installation: Songs for a Passerby – Céline Daemen
Step into an immersive installation where reality and fiction blur. Songs for a Passerby invites you to reflect on your place in the world—where art meets technology.
