Three soloists - Four musical worlds

A Tunisian singer, a baroque gambist and a Turkish kemençe player engage in dialogue with one another. Their music is rooted in old traditions but exists in the here and now. Classical Indian dhrupad singing flirts with Bach. Traditional Arabic and Turkish music meets gamba music from the time of Louis XIV. There is an interplay between different styles and cultures, a quest for identity and spirituality. Concert designer and video artist Folkert Uhde takes care of the visual dimension with abstract landscapes and surprising perspectives.
