Trio Catch

19 Oct.'15
- 19:00

Rising Star Kölner Philharmonie

Warning Concert at 7pm

If you like contemporary music, then this one is for you. Trio Catch plays a new work by the young Austrian composer Johannes Maria Staud, as well as music by the German composer Helmut Lachenmann. The latter's name is associated with "instrumental musique concrète", which makes use of unconventional playing techniques to explore all the sound possibilities of an instrument. As its name suggests, the trio is always keen to capture its listeners' full attention – something they should certainly succeed in with this programme.
