Vicente Amigo is a master on the flamenco guitar. This mysterious and profound artist was born in 1967 in the Spanish city of Guadalcanal and grew up in Cordoba. Passionate about the guitar since childhood, his discography revealed him as one of the most innovative and prolific creators of contemporary flamenco music. Besides being an ambassador of flamenco guitar and an honorary member of the United Nations Arts & Sciences, he has won two Grammy Awards and received the Gold Medal of Fine Arts. At Bozar, Vicente Amigo will present music from his new album and some pieces from his impressive repertoire.
