‘Video Installation - Rosine Mbakam’

The Close-up on Cameroon-born director Rosine Mbakam is complemented by a video installation that explores the gripping stories of her work as a documentary filmmaker. During the Afropolitan Festival, the public can discover the installation and listen to the characters at the heart of the director's cinematographic story. The work is composed of six videos made with previously unseen images from her films and accompanied by poetic texts. Mbakam invites us to reflect on themes that are both personal and universal.
