As part of the 3rd edition of the Tunisian Cultural Spring in Belgium on the theme: "From the culture of corruption to the culture of good governance", the Vigilance Committee for Democracy in Tunisia is pleased to invite you to Monodrama by and with Leïla TOUBEL "Yakouta"

SYNOPSIS:
Between the walls of her loneliness, with her damaged body, her bitter memories and her flayed soul, a locked up woman, beaten to death by her companion, is going to rave about the story of her daughter "Yakouta", born under X and abandoned in in front of a mosque. "Yakouta" is the story of a thousand and one women, a cry against omerta, a candle that lights up dark rooms and an echo of choked tears.

LEILA TOUBEL:
Woman of the theater, activist, actress, author and director, international trainer in acting and dramaturgy, she is considered one of the figures of Tunisian theater.
To his credit several theatrical works created in Tunisia and abroad, including the last two outstanding creations "Solwen" and "Hourya". His 35-year career has been crowned with great success and national and international accolades.
