The best bboys of Belgium are taking each other on in BOZAR. For this breakdance battle duos from all over Belgium and the neighbouring countries step into the ring. And so the jury is international as well. The battles follow the classic outline: after the qualifiers 16 teams remain, they then fight it out to make it to the last eight, the quarter final, semi-final and final battle. The jury consists of the most respected bboys: the Parisian Magnum of Chasseurs de Prime, the Dutch Koko of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Mambo of the Brussels Dynamics crew. Rocking Smurby of Funky Belgian’Z leads the battles, Zulu Wail of BXL Squad is on the decks. The perfect opportunity to admire the brute force and energy of hip-hop from up close.
