Every two years, BOZAR partners with the NOVA_XX biennale, organised by the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles in Paris. In the era of Industry 4.0, the exhibition is dedicated to women’s technological, scientific and artistic innovations. It highlights artists and practitioners who use and seek to understand new media, digital tools and science, and who promote hybrid experimentation between disciplines. 

This special edition for the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, France and Québec focuses on the challenges of artificial intelligence, and the synergy between artistic and scientific research. Organised in collaboration with IRCAM (the Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique), it will also cast light on women’s contemporary musical creations.

This year, the third edition of the NOVA_XX biennale will be held on 8 December at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles in Paris, and on 10 December at the Générateur, in Gentilly (Paris metropolitan area). 

Like every year, a female artist will receive a BOZAR Lab award.
