Classical Music for Ukraine

The consequences of the invasion by the Russian army in Ukraine are disastrous for the Ukrainian population, including many artists and employees of cultural organisations active in the country. The invasion has strained global relations and undermined the sense of security everywhere. This aggression must stop immediately.

Out of solidarity with the Ukrainian population and because classical music connects and comforts, Bozar, Concertgebouw Brugge, Muziekcentrum De Bijloke, De SIngel, Flagey, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and l'Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège are joining forces to organise 'Classical Music for Ukraine', a large-scale, national benefit multi-day event from 25 to 29 March in various cities.

Many national and international artists will be present, including Alain Platel, Vilde Frang, Herbert Schuch, Daan Vandewalle, Youth Orchestra Flanders, Anu Tali, Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort, Andreas Staier, Fazil Say, Alexandre Kantorow and Daniel Müller-Schott.

All proceeds will go to Ukraine 12-12.
