‘a Bartok Festival : Marathon’

8 Feb.'26
- 12:00

Béla Bartók was captivated by folk music and wrote a fascinating repertoire for students inspired by it – an intriguing side of the composer that will be highlighted during the Bartók Marathon. At various locations in the Centre for Fine Arts, musicians of different ages and levels – from conservatoire students and professionals to amateurs with extensive experience – will guide you through Bartók's rich repertoire: from the violin duos and string quartets to the Romanian Folk Dances. Prior to the concerts at Bozar, students of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels will give some concerts at our socio-cultural partners in the city.

This event is free to attend without reservation.

Partners: Bozar, BNO, Vlamo, Chamber Music For Europe, Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles & het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel.
