In April 2022, Cindy Castillo, Bart Verheyen and Joris Verdin - specialist in César Franck's music for harmonium - released an album dedicated to the composer's pieces for pipe organ. For this recital, in the frame of the César Franck bicentenary, they invite both the unique sound of the harmonium, an instrument to which Franck devoted many compositions, and the touching expressiveness of the soprano Françoise Masset, in a selection of melodies, duets and religious vocal pieces by the Liège master.
For health reasons, Joris Verdin will not be able to perform at this concert. We would like to thank Wannes Vanderhoeven for accepting to replace him.
