BOZAR NEXT GENERATION

Revealed by Le Jardin des Voix, young Bruges-based soprano Deborah Cachet gives voice to all manner of dramatic ladies, musically sketched in the tones of the Italian Baroque. Moments of ecstatic happiness shift seamlessly into the deepest despair, shattering doubt… and a glimpse of hope. Queens, sorceresses and lovers sing out in vivid colours, tossed by the turbulence of life. Are these heroines victims of their own feelings or powerful shapers of their destiny? Answers in music.
