Let's enter imaginary worlds through Virtual Reality

For the 2021 edition of the I Love Science Festival, Bozar will present a programme of virtual reality experiences at the Brussels Expo (Heysel). It will plunge visitors of all ages (from 12 to 88) into dream-like worlds, where everything once again seems possible with the help of new technologies.

A large, immersive and entrancing installation, which includes 14 viewing stations via 3D and 360° VR headsets, will highlight experiences that are a tribute to creativity and the imagination. Bozar proves that art and technology are not incompatible, and that such techniques are within the grasp of whoever is interested.

You'll cross paths with Colin Farrell in the VR series GLOOMY EYES, meet Rosario Dawson in the punk series BATTLESCAR, capture the sounds of the ice cap in -22.7°C with Jan Kounen and musician Molecule, and broaden your spiritual horizons on the shamanic rhythm of AYAHUASCA. If you have any energy left, the images of THE REAL THING and 21-22 ALPHA will transport you to Asia and the rest of the world while DAS TOTALE TANZ THEATER will take you on a journey to the mythical Bauhaus school!

Each of these experiences is a small masterpiece of animation, acknowledged by the world’s most important virtual reality festivals, such as the Venice Film Festival, Sundance and Tribeca.

Visitors will be welcomed and guided by cultural mediators at the Bozar VR stand.
