Interactive guided tours (12-26)

18 Sept.'26 →
29 Aug.'27

For schools, academies  and youth associations

Bozar’s interactive guided tours emphasise pupils’ personal experience. An enthusiastic guide invites them to analyse images, think critically and express an argument through exercises and group discussions. Their exploration of the works of art includes contextualising the exhibition and its relationship with current events. Are you currently working on a specific theme or project? Let us know. Our guides tailor their tours to suit each class and your expectations.

Pupils will:

✓ Develop their critical analysis and think creatively

✓ Bring the exhibition themes into a current context

✓ Develop knowledge and practices through contact with works of art

✓ Illustrate the mutual influence of art, culture and technology, politics, economics, science and worldviews

  • Jean Brusselmans. Painter by nature.

From the beginning of the 20th century, Jean Brusselmans developed a unique oeuvre, averse to artistic trends yet firmly rooted in the tradition of painting. Through 120 works, the exhibition delves into his distinctive universe, between abstraction and figuration. Dialogues with contemporaries such as Paul Cézanne, Fernand Léger and Piet Mondriaan offer a fresh perspective on his work. The first major retrospective of Brusselmans since 1980.

Date of the exhibition : 01/10/26 > 31/01/27

Tours begin: 20/10/26

  • William Kentridge. I am not me, the horse is not mine.

William Kentridge began his career at the height of the struggle against apartheid in South Africa. His work remains sharply political, poetic and socially engaged. This solo exhibition brings together drawings, animated films, installations and videos from the 1980s to the present, with a particular focus on his pioneering stage productions and his distinctive performative and collaborative approach. Art becomes a space for political reflection, historical confrontation and poetic transformation.

Date of the exhibition : 18/09/26 > 07/03/27

Tours begin: 06/10/26

  • Rachel Whiteread. Conversation Pieces.

Rachel Whiteread (b. 1963, UK) is one of the most important sculptors of her generation, with an international career spanning more than 30 years. Her work is rooted in the everyday, observing forms that surround us but often go unnoticed, such as the space under a table. She is moved by memory, the traces of life and the ways we inhabit spaces. At Bozar, she presents a generous overview, from key early works to recent creations, in dialogue with other artists.

Date of the exhibition : 22/04 > 29/08/2027

Tours begin: 04/05/2027

  • Sweet, Sour, Power.  The Voyage of Fruit.

Fruit voyages across cultures, but also across time and space. For centuries, oceans separated those who grew fruit from those who enjoyed it. This exhibition begins across those waters with artists from Oceania, the Caribbean and beyond, tracing these journeys in all their complexity: migrations, metaphors and the price of abundance. Moving between the sensuous and the political, the humorous and the horrifying, it follows the routes fruit has taken, and the roots it has put down.

Date of the exhibition : 26/03 > 25/07/2027

Tours begin: 06/04/2027
