Painter by Nature

From the beginning of the 20th century, Jean Brusselmans developed a unique oeuvre, averse to artistic trends yet firmly rooted in the tradition of painting. Through 120 works, the exhibition delves into his distinctive universe, between abstraction and figuration. Dialogues with contemporaries such as Paul Cézanne, Fernand Léger and Piet Mondriaan offer a fresh perspective on his work. The first major retrospective of Brusselmans since 1980.
