Jean Brusselmans. Painter by nature. 

From the beginning of the 20th century, Jean Brusselmans created remarkable paintings that differed from what most artists of his time were doing, while still remaining faithful to the tradition of painting. The exhibition presents 120 of his works and invites children to immerse themselves in his unique world, where shapes and colours blend between abstraction and reality. 
During the visit, pupils are actively engaged: they observe, compare, ask questions and take part in activities that help them explore art in a concrete way. They learn how artists sometimes follow the rules… and sometimes break them to invent new ways of creating. They can experiment themselves and express their ideas and emotions. 
Pupils can:
