Singing Brussels Celebration
Sing and make your voice heard in this (slightly unusual) new edition of the Singing Brussels Celebration. BOZAR invites you to take part in singing, rhythm and breathing workshops, live on Facebook for a single day. The aim: to stay united despite the distance. The workshops are open to all, for all levels and all ages!
The videos of these workshops will also be available on YouTube and on our website at the end of the day.
PROGRAMME
10:00 – 10:30
Wake up and sing! (EN/NL)
Waking and warming up the body in order to be ready to sing! This is the goal of Panda van Proosdij’s workshop using her “Voice & Physique” method. Shaking bodyparts, rolling joints and exercising the voice with supporting movements. You will wake up actively but gently and be energized for the rest of the day. Join us in this heart-warming, cheerful workshop and start the day with a smile.
13:30 – 14:00
Singing Brussels Café (FR/EN)
Anita Daulne (FR/EN) introduces you to three African and Aboriginal songs accessible to all. In Aboriginal culture, dance is a representation of the activity of nature and animals. Let yourself be carried away to other horizons by singing and, why not, dancing!

Beatboxing consists of vocally imitating a drum machine, scratches and many instruments (mainly percussion). This workshop will allow you to discover beatbox practice in a relaxed atmosphere while experiencing teamwork and self-expression.
19:00 – 19:45
Singing Brussels Apéro (EN/FR)
Paul Smith (VOCES8) offers you a dynamic participatory workshop for your evening cocktail! He will guide you thanks to his unique learning method which is accessible to everyone.
