‘Paris Mozart Orchestra & Claire Gibault’

Claire Gibault, artistic director of the Paris Mozart Orchestra, is a founding member of the first female conductor competition La Maestra. The competition aims to guide and promote female conductors in their professional careers, as still too few women find their way to the conducting profession. Gibault herself will be conducting Beethoven's Violin Concerto with Japanese-American Midori as soloist after which Anna Sułkowska-Migoń,  the first laureate of La Maestra 2022, will be taking over the baton for Brahms' First Symphony.  After 15 years of hard work, Johannes Brahms breathed new life into the genre with this work.
