‘Screening + Krump performance (Les frontières de l'invisible & Digital Natives)’

21 May'19
- 20:00

Next Generation, Please!

20:00 - Les frontières de l'invisible : le Krump, un combat comme lien entre le ciel et la terre

Creation/performance followed by a dialogue between socio-anthropologist Jonathan Collin, choreographer Hendrickx Ntela and krumper Patribe Kanyinda.

The young krumpers from Liège participating in the project "Les frontières de l'invisible" live and breathe krump. Through it they have found a sense of self and an identity. Dancing krump enabled them to find a voice and to make it heard. The creation proposed for Next Generation, Please! talks about how you can transcend borders and how you aspire to an elevation of the spirit and an enriching of your state of presence.

20:30 - Digital Natives : "Feeling Everything All at Once"

Screening + Q&A.

“Feeling Everything All at Once” is a creative output from a multi-layered artistic exchange project called Digital Natives. The art project was created in collaboration between students who attend the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe (New Mexico) and Belgian participants who partnered with the Institute of Sainte-Marie in Brussels. The screening will be followed by a discussion between the young people from Institute of American Indian Arts and Belgian youth about identity, colonization and multiculturalism in a digital each.
