The compelling dancer and storyteller reveals how the body and voice can be used to express inner freedom and explore individual and collective identities.

Briana Ashley Stuart is an internationally acclaimed dancer from Detroit, Michigan, but also a teacher, choreographer and entrepreneur. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Michigan, she performed with SJEwing & Dancers, StepAfrika! (the world's first dance company dedicated to the art of stepping) and Zikit. Briana Ashley Stuart choreographed Dalilla Hermans’ piece her(e) at NTGent in 2020, and is currently artist-in-residence at Citylab - Pianofabriek.
