them. As we emerge from an unprecedentedly long period during which we have been deprived of this breath of fresh air, Bozar’s 2021-2022 musical season (and its talented guest artists) is in a sense a manifesto for what has been lacking. The past years have made it obvious: music contributes to our happiness; it is essential to our individual and collective well-being.
Art and artists give us a chance to forget ourselves, to spring into motion, to open our minds to the world, to gain a better understanding of society, and to pulsate as a whole. The Centre for Fine Arts has put together a season calendar that includes renowned and budding artists, young talents and established performers. Audiences can finally come back “home” and fully enjoy the “moving” experience that music offers, beyond frontiers, beyond styles, and utterly timeless.
