Celebrating our 10th Anniversary

BOZAR CINEMA exists ten years ! We celebrate our anniver-sary with four days of festivities. We open with Turist, a black co-medy by Ruben Östlund. In The Kidnapping of Michel Houellebecq Guillaume Nicloux stages the famous writer’s imaginary abduction; Houellebecq plays himself. Other films in preview are: Blind Dates by the Georgian director Levan Koguashvili, The Kindergarten Tea-cher by the Israelian director Nadav Lapid, Les Hommes by Stanislas Zambeaux, Ming of Harlem by Phillip Warnell and The Go-Go Boys: The Inside Story of Cannon Films by Hilla Medalia. We are scree-ning Bruno Dumont’s series P’tit Quinquin, a blend of Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis and Twin Peaks. The elusive Spanish director Adolpho Arri-etta is our guest and he will present a selection of his works. The clo-sing film is the Belgian-German documentary Gardenia. Before The Last Curtain Falls by Thomas Wallner, which is inspired by Alain Platel’s play.
