Les Grandes Conférences Catholiques

‘Les Grandes Conférences Catholiques’

Dear Subscribers, Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
Dear Friends of the Grandes Conférences Catholiques,

The programme for our 2022-2023 season is intended to be rich and varied and reflect our changing world.

Since 1931, the Grandes Conférences Catholiques have pursued the same aim: to make the voices of men and women who define their era in their respective fields heard, and to contribute to the development of Brussels, capital of Europe and Belgium, as a place of intellectual exchange and influence.

Whereas with the explosion in the means of communication, there is now a plethora of information, this is most often reduced to circulation and then simple consumption.  The forum offered by the Grandes Conférences Catholiques provides food for thought.  It aims to satisfy an audience eager for knowledge and understanding.

The programme for our forum's 92nd season reflects this same ambition.

During this next season, all our conferences will be held "in person".
For those of our subscribers who would prefer not to travel, we have provided the option for an online only subscription.
With the technical assistance of the Palais des Beaux-Arts, we will ensure that, whatever the health situation, each of our conferences will be broadcast online. Our subscribers who have subscribed to this specific online subscription will be granted secure and personal access.
We will of course follow the health recommendations of the competent authorities in relation to our conferences. If we have to adapt again, we will do so accordingly.

All our 2022-2023 conferences will be held in the Henry Le Bœuf Hall at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Rue Ravenstein 23, 1000 Brussels.

From October 2022 to March 2023, we will have the honour and pleasure of welcoming seven leading figures to our forum. It is also possible that an eighth conference will be added to our programme this coming season and, if so, this will be announced after the summer. Our subscribers will benefit from this without any price increase.

Our committee hopes that this programme will pique your interest. I look forward to seeing you throughout the upcoming season.

Yours faithfully,

Emmanuel Cornu
